This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
09460 Possible Causes:
09460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09460 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
