Accumulated in electronic control units so accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit or change camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09457 Possible Causes:
09457 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 09457 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
