The problem is about fuel additive control module warning lamp request retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ also fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
09443 Possible Causes:
09443 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 09443 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
