This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak . So for next intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
09440 Possible Causes:
09440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09440 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
