09438 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open also please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
09438 Possible Causes:
09438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09438 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
