09438 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle position output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) . So for next transmission control unit, incorrect coded is the final reason of the code. |
09438 Possible Causes:
09438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 09438 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
