The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance or change direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
09431 Possible Causes:
09431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09431 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
