The problem is about hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich you can see the shift lock, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09431 Possible Causes:
09431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09431 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
