The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or change fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
09424 Possible Causes:
09424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09424 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
