09408 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed . On the other hand actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09408 Possible Causes:
09408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09408 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
