Accumulated in electronic control units so pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal or engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09408 Possible Causes:
09408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09408 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
