The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance also please check dtc memory of air condition ecu is the final reason of the code. |
09408 Possible Causes:
09408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09408 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
