Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
09406 Possible Causes:
09406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09406 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
