09402 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance also ignition switch run position, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09402 Possible Causes:
09402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 09402 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
