09401 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake coolant fan (v7), open circuit also planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09401 Possible Causes:
09401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09401 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
