09400 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about leak in air intake system the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high or change manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load is the final reason of the code. |
09400 Possible Causes:
09400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09400 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
