This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ you can see the fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
09398 Possible Causes:
09398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09398 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
