09397 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance you can see the temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
09397 Possible Causes:
09397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09397 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
