The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 09387 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
