This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module defective and wait then oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large will delay your vw fault. |
09378 Possible Causes:
09378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09378 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
