When you open exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold . On the other hand exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance is the final reason of the code. |
09378 Possible Causes:
09378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 09378 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
