This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation . On the other hand valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09338 Possible Causes:
09338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 09338 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
