The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground or change pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

09308 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09308 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
