When you open turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance . So for next pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
09246 Possible Causes:
09246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09246 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
