Staring in engine internal control module, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance or change glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
09246 Possible Causes:
09246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09246 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
