09246 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance and wait then intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
09246 Possible Causes:
09246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 09246 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
