Diameter in engine coolant pump control, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses you can see the drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
09242 Possible Causes:
09242 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09242 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
