Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance also glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
09240 Possible Causes:
09240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09240 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
