Diagnosing engine bar with pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open and wait then exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09231 Possible Causes:
09231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 09231 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
