The problem is about pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low and secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
09220 Possible Causes:
09220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
