This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09198 Possible Causes:
09198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09198 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
