Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor internal control module, driver error or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
09198 Possible Causes:
09198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 09198 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
