The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ you can see the wheel speed signal 1, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09198 Possible Causes:
09198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09198 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
