Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance or cylinder 10 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
09196 Possible Causes:
09196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09196 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
