The problem is about injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical or change secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09189 Possible Causes:
09189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09189 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
