Staring in engine fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
09189 Possible Causes:
09189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09189 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
