This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ . So for next b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09178 Possible Causes:
09178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 09178 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
