This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus or bank 2, system too rich at idle will delay your vw fault. |
09178 Possible Causes:
09178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09178 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
