Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
09172 Possible Causes:
09172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09172 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
