09172 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine temperature too low you can see the intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
09172 Possible Causes:
09172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09172 Code
- Inspect all the connections charging system, voltage high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
