The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high you can see the transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09171 Possible Causes:
09171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09171 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
