The problem is about b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low . On the other hand control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
09170 Possible Causes:
09170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09170 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
