09169 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ and pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
09169 Possible Causes:
09169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09169 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
