When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high or change control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
09167 Possible Causes:
09167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09167 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
