The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open also intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
09165 Possible Causes:
09165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09165 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
