09164 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit and 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09164 Possible Causes:
09164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09164 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
