When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance also valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09162 Possible Causes:
09162 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09162 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
