09159 Description And Summary : |

When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm power input, signal and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
09159 Possible Causes:
09159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 09159 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
