09158 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system signal 'door up' not recognized or change nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09158 Possible Causes:
09158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 09158 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
