This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
09146 Possible Causes:
09146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09146 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
