This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance you can see the brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. is the final reason of the code. |
09131 Possible Causes:
09131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 09131 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
