09128 Description And Summary : |

When you open shift lock, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction or throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
09128 Possible Causes:
09128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09128 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
