09123 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
09123 Possible Causes:
09123 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09123 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
