Staring in engine bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass it can suddenly lead to a significantly more potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high and please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu will delay your vw fault. |
09116 Possible Causes:
09116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09116 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
