The problem is about shift lock, open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit and ignition switch accessory position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
09116 Possible Causes:
09116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09116 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
