09087 Description And Summary : |

When you open outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked or change water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
09087 Possible Causes:
09087 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 09087 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
