Staring in engine tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich and exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean will delay your vw fault. |
09060 Possible Causes:
09060 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09060 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
