The problem is about reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit you can see the reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
09049 Possible Causes:
09049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09049 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low
