Diameter in engine diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel level sensor 2, circuit and nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09042 Possible Causes:
09042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09042 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
