Diameter in engine fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open also injector control pressure regulator, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09040 Possible Causes:
09040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09040 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
