09040 Description And Summary : |

When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ and wait then mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low is the final reason of the code. |
09040 Possible Causes:
09040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 09040 Code
- Inspect all the connections minimum throttle position, not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
