09026 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open and wait then glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09026 Possible Causes:
09026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09026 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
