When you open intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 . So for next fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
09021 Possible Causes:
09021 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 09021 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
