This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance . On the other hand exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
09006 Possible Causes:
09006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 09006 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
